For two years Gift to Nature have been working on an ambitious project to restore the heart back to Golden Hill Country Park.
Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we have been discovering and recording its fascinating history, improving the wildlife walks and commissioning a wonderful willow maze installation to attract families back to the park.
Golden celebrations
The work is now finished so please join us at this free event on Sunday 27th June (12pm-4pm) to celebrate its completion and discover for yourself what we have been up to.
There will be music and storytelling, and opportunities to go on wildlife walks with the Gift to Nature team (walks must be booked in advance) and of course, your chance to explore the willow wonder that everyone is talking about.
Please feel free to bring kites and a picnic, but refreshments will be available throughout the day.
