Part of Sandown Road, Lake will be closed this evening (from 7pm) to allow for the reinstatement of the Skew Bridge walkway.
The nine-tonne footbridge was removed in May for refurbishment off-site.
To facilitate the reinstatement of the footbridge, Island Roads say Sandown Road will be closed from its junction with Cemetery Road for a distance of 198 metres south.
Also closed from this afternoon is Cemetery Road path and Shanklin Footpath 63 from its junction with Sandown Road to its junction with Cliff Path Lake, a distance of 73 metres.
