Heavy rain could lead to flooding, says latest IW Met Service forecast

The IW Met Service have issued a weather warning for heavy rain for Monday.

There has already been heavy overnight rain across the Isle of Wight, but the warning also indicates that between 1am and 10am there could be as much as 10-15mm of rain in a second spell of rain.

They say that as the ground is still very saturated from recent heavy rain, 15-20mm rain could lead to more flooding.

You can read this warning and other forecasts on the IW Met Service website.

A similar warning has not been issued by the Met Office for the Island.
