Thanks to OnTheWight reader, Carl Wright, for sending through details about a challenge his friend Chris Hollingshead is hoping to take part in.
Islander Chris has entered the Lynx Space Academy challenge, which if he receives enough votes for, could see him going into space. Yes, actually into space (check out the video below for full details).
There’s a week to go until the voting comes to an end and Chris needs to be in the top 200. He’s currently in position 215, so is going to need as many votes as the Island can muster to help push him across the other side of the 200 mark and stay there.

Another ambitious chap competing from the Island is Alex Chalkley.
He’s some way behind Chris (currently at 389), but once you’ve voted for Chris, why not do the same for Alex over on the official page.
