A new scheme to help Islanders on the housing register find property has been launched.
The Island HomeFinder Website works in the same way as national property sites such as RightMove, but instead provide listings of all available properties to those on the housing register.
The scheme is a collaboration between the IW Council (IWC), Medina Housing Association, South Wight Housing Association and Vectis Housing.
There are currently twelve properties advertised on the site by two of the housing associations.
But the Website is not just for listing properties, we see that you can also use it to express your interest in a particular property and find out who your bid is doing.
There is also an automated 24-hour freephone hotline where by you can bid for certain properties and even a text message service!
Not only that, but with all bases covered, you can also listen to property adverts on a telephone messaging service by calling 01983 823045.
