Matthew Horne and James Corden, stars of the hit BBC comedy Gavin And Stacey will be dropping their stand up routine and forming a band to play at this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival.
According to a report in yesterday’s News Of The World the pair, who have no musical experience, are preparing to perform for the first time in front of 70,000 people and a TV audience of millions.
Cameras will follow their progress as they start a band from scratch as part of an ITV show ‘We Are Rock Stars’, in which they have just five days to put together a group and rehearse for their first live gig.
Isle Of Wight Festival 2009 will take place at Seaclose Park, Newport on the Isle Of Wight from 12-14 June.
