Hundreds of concerned local residents came out this afternoon to protest against the closure of Shanklin Fire station.
Local businessman, Steve Marsh handed the 6,000 signatures-strong petition to Cabinet member Cllr Barry Abraham urging the council to delay the closure of Shanklin’s fire station until the new Bay Area station had been completed.
