Don’t forget to get down to The Venue at Ryde Theatre this Saturday 3rd February to catch the Ian Siegal Band in action at the first Bluesroom event of 2007.
Ian Siegal is apparently the hot property on the European Blues scene; a singer, songwriter and guitarist who is putting the UK back on the world Blues map.
His latest and second album “Meat & Potatoes is described by MOJO (Feb.06) as “awash with wit, lust and distraction……one of the most inventive Blues recordings ever made by a British artist.
“The closest thing I’ve heard to Howlin’ Wolf” –
With support from The Island’s Amen Boogie Blues Band, this looks all set to be a cracking night of Blues/R&B and not to be missed if you love the blues!
Tickets £10 advance, £12 on the door.
