Independent prospective parliamentary candidate, Ian Stephens, has this afternoon released his manifesto “Putting the Island and its People first”.
Ian said,
“I am pleased to put forward a personal manifesto which has no Party Political agenda, but is focused on the community and business of the Isle of Wight. Those concerns have been considered and national priorities are also put forward.
“The manifesto shows a broad base across the political divide and portrays how an Independent Member of Parliament can elect to address or support an agenda item proposed from elsewhere without the constraints of party politics.
“It proves that support can be given on individual proposals, whilst I am able to seek support from others for Island centric options in a national political arena.
“I am endeavoring to meet with as many residents as possible and have opened a campaign headquarters at Cross Street, Ryde, which you are all welcome to visit.”
