Ingram’s Yard: Pledge now to revive former Ventnor builders’ yard into a community and creative haven

Last updated:

There are just two days left to show your support for a new project in Ventnor to transform a former builders’ yard into a vibrant creative and community space.

228 people have pledged a whopping £18,876 of Ventnor Exchange’s initial £15,000 target for Ingram’s Yard.

A range of pledges
There is still a chance to buy your ticket to the opening party (£25). Alternatively, if you can spare £200 you can sign up for two free tickets to all shows and workshops at Ventnor Exchange for an entire year (with an option to pay monthly after the first year).

Those able to spare £500 will join the Ventnor Exchange Supporters Club, where you’ll receive updates throughout the year from the team about their work. You’ll also receive invites to press nights, previews and other special events as well as opportunities to share your thoughts and feedback on their different projects.

If you become a member of the Supporters Club, you’ll be acknowledged in displays and publications, or can remain anonymous if you prefer.

Head over to the Crowdfunder Website to find out more about the plans for the building and to financially support the project.

Part of the plans for the site are to provide artists’ studios – and News OnTheWight understands that some of those should be ready to occupy fairly soon after the Crowdfunder finishes.

There are also plans to hold a market in the back yard area, perhaps fortnightly or monthly, with the first taking place before Christmas 2023. If you are interested in taking a space, complete this form to express your interest.
