As we mentioned earlier in the week, tomorrow sees a great screening day lined up for the Wight Film Network.
The afternoon and evening of screenings at Quay Arts Centre in Newport aims to showcase the talent of Island film-makers with all.
The films cover a wide variety of subjects but all tied together with the common thread of being shot on the Isle of Wight.
Headlining the event is the première of James Willis’ first feature length film, The Man Who Walked (see the trailer below).
Wide variety of screenings
Other films shown in the afternoon and evening include profiles of Island Artisans by Duncan Shears of Oak Shed Media Ltd, and entertaining romp through 1000 years of history at the Island’s most famous castle – Carisbrooke and collection of French film-maker, Vincent Moon’s Take Away Shows.
Day passes are priced at £4.50 if bought in advance or £5 on the door, otherwise screenings are priced individually at £1 each for daytime and £3 for both evening screenings.
In the meantime, check out the trailer below for The Man Who Walked.
