Island Line: Disruption To Train Service This WeekendEssential track renewal work is taking place at Ryde Esplanade station over the weekend of Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October 2010.

Trains will not run between Ryde Pier Head, Ryde Esplanade and Ryde St Johns Road during this time.

Buses will replace trains between Ryde St Johns Road and Ryde Esplanade ONLY.

Due to the current vehicles restrictions in place on Ryde Pier we are UNABLE to provide ANY ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORT BETWEEN RYDE ESPLANADE AND RYDE PIER HEAD during the work.

Passengers will need to use the temporary walkway provided by Wightlink along Ryde Pier to access catamaran services.

Passengers unable to use the walkway or requiring assistance are asked to call our Assisted Travel help line on 0800 52 82 100

Journey times will be extended and connections cannot be guaranteed, we regret that cycles, prams and items of bulky luggage cannot be conveyed on rail replacement buses.

Island Line Trains apologise for the disruption caused during this work.
