Teenage Illusionist Chris Philpott (17), from Ventnor, has just returned from his second year call back performing magic and illusions in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Readers will remember that back in 2009, Chris and Canadian magician Tim Vallillee (aka The Great Tim Beanie) performed for kids Camps around Kings County, Nova Scotia Canada.
This year the duo act (both members of ‘The Canadian Association of Magicians’) performed a brand new act even crazier and magical than before.
Visit to Ventnor, USA
After leaving Canada, Chris drove to his home town’s namesake, Ventnor City, New Jersey USA.
Staying with close friends performing for the family and neighbors, and even performing for the City Hall staff and Mayor of Ventnor N.J. the last trick of the tour was Chris’s favorite finale ‘Snow Storm in china.’
A simple rip of a napkin and ten thousand paper snowflakes flew from his hands, flowing over his spectators.
Chris said “As always its great to perform it’s the best high you can get, its better than any drug about. When the audience applauses its better than a half pint of beer and when you get a standing obviation its better than a pint! Especially when it’s a brand new audience in other countries. I do give my thanks to Tim Vallillee, my co worker and good friend, I also must thank Ventnor City for their support to me and my family for their many years of support and also to my Fiancée too.”
