We love the sound of this design competition for children on the Island. We reckon there could be some excellent examples of creativity coming out of the competition.
Ryde is known as ‘the Gateway to the Isle of Wight’ due to its Victorian pier where the Wightlink passenger ferry arrives. Hovertravel’s Hover also has a terminal here.
The shopping in Ryde is well-renowned with lots of independent shops.
Ryde has very large, shallow beaches and parks to match, making it a popular destination during the summer.
It’s also the largest conurbation on the Isle of Wight.
