Developers have submitted an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate against the Isle of Wight council's decision to refuse an application to build 95 units of holiday accommodation.
The planning committee will make the decision this evening and has been urged by Mr Stuart to “see through the facade and call this out as a major breach of planning”
Many residents feel the revised application does not address the concerns raised by them or the planning committee when the previous application was refused.
Work to demolish the existing buildings will start in September and the development should be complete by April 2017, creating 30 full and part time jobs.
