Parents of pupils at Weston Academy Primary School are calling on the education minister to reverse her decision to allow the school to close after it was announced last week that it could close at Christmas.
Members of the Weston Academy Action Group have been examining the AET contract and digging back through paperwork to build what they say is a robust defence against closure.
Many parents had already moved their children to other schools when the prospect of the school closing was announced. The academy sponsor confirm today it will close the school on 31st December.
