The next “In Conversation” evening in the Island Women series takes place at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes on Wednesday 14th October at 7pm.
Farmer and Duxmore Botanics founder Charlotte Legge joins Carisbrooke Flower Farm founder and firefighter Claire Westbrook, plus crime historian and author Dr Angela Buckley, as October’s three guests.
Everyone is welcome at the event, and money raised on the night goes to local charities.
“Bowled over” by the response
Founder Cheryl Buggy started the series earlier this year to celebrate women on the Island.
Cheryl Buggy said,
“Since coming up with the idea earlier in the year as a way of celebrating some of the amazing and inspirational women on the Island, I’ve been bowled over by the stories I have heard and the positive response to the evening events.”
