Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Receives More Support

Did you know that the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance needs to raise at least £92,000 a month to keep the service running? Incredible isn’t it?

Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Receives More Support14% of the call-outs attended by the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance are to sporting injuries, so it seems pretty apt that the Hampshire FA has shown its support by donating £100 to the service.

Nicola Rogers, Business Support Officer of Hampshire FA, said “Hampshire FA are very proud to support the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. We both cover the whole of the county, and are both extremely important to the football world. None of us ever know when we may need the Air Ambulance, so it is vital that we keep this service running”

John Perry added “The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance have to raise £92,000 a month to continue saving lives so every little bit helps. It is partnerships like this that help us achieve this target. We are delighted to be connected with Hampshire FA and hope to work together closely in the future”
