The Isle of Wight has a wealth of brain boxes from many different industries.
One we’ve written about before is appearing on University Challenge tonight (Tuesday)
OnTheWight ran a piece on IBM Master Inventor, Andy Stanford-Clark back in 2009 when he was attaching mouse traps in his attic to the Internet of Things – way before anyone knew what that meant.
Tonight, Andy will be representing his old Uni, the University of East Anglia, on BBC2 from the earlier than usual time of 7.30pm.
Future Solent
As well as being a Master Inventor (we love that job title) at IBM, Andy is also involved in the Future Solent project.
He’s one of those behind the crowd-funding appeal to create a legacy for the late David Green of Ecosisland.
