Busby’s Barn: New barn to be built for the French herd
DJF’s Busby’s Barn Fundraiser launched by Kacey Fereday reads:

“The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary is a charity which is very close to our hearts at DJF Garden Maintenance! We are regular visitors to the sanctuary and we love the work completed by the staff for all the donkeys!

“We are running this fundraiser to raise money for a new barn to be built for the French herd – Busby’s Barn. Busby was one of the first donkeys to come over from France, but he sadly passed away last year.

“The French herd consists of ten donkeys, eight of which were saved from the meat market and were taken in by a lady in Brittany. The two other French donkeys were taken in by a sanctuary in Normandy – these two were named Hope and Charity.

“We are avid supporters of the donkey sanctuary and we wanted to do more for this amazing charity!”
