Today (Friday) is the last day to donate a toy to the Isle of Wight Christmas Toy Appeal.
Earlier in the week the count was still well below the target of 2,500 toys, but the toys have been piling in over the last couple of days and there are now over 3,700 toys donated to children in need on the Isle of Wight.
Organisers say,
“The appeal doesn’t close until midday on Friday so there is still time to donate a new toy or gift.
“If you would prefer us to choose a gift for you, cash donations can be made online
“Thank you so much for supporting the IOW Christmas Toy Appeal. Together we can make a difference.”
Once the deadline for donations closes, the hard work of sorting and wrapping all the presents begins.
