Isle of Wight collision: Police seek motorcyclist who may have witnessed incident

Isle of Wight Police were last night dealing with a serious collision on the Isle of Wight and are keen to identify any witnesses, in particular a motorcyclist who may have witnessed the incident.

Police were called at 3.23pm on Wednesday 16th August to reports of a single vehicle collision on Military Road near to Whale Chine.

A motorcycle left the carriageway and came to rest in a roadside ditch.

Other witnesses
Through enquiries, we believe another motorcyclist may have been riding just ahead of the motorcycle involved in the collision.

We are keen to identify the motorcyclist riding ahead, as they may have witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it.
