Dick Tracy's hall of fame

Isle of Wight crime writers honoured in Dick Tracy’s ‘Hall of Fame’

Isle of Wight crime writers, Carol and Bob Bridgestock, who go under the pen name, RC Bridgestock, have been honoured in the hugely popular Dick Tracy’s ‘Hall of Fame’ comic strip.

The husband and wife duo, with 47 years of front line policing work between them, launched the sixth in the DI Dylan series, Killer Smile, earlier this year.

Appearing in the August 2015 issue of the comic strip, Carol told OnTheWight,

“Dick Tracy is the second most famous detective in any fictional medium below Sherlock Holmes and we do feel truly honoured that the US and Dick Tracy’s writers and editors have honoured us!”

She went on to say,

“Bob is ‘dead chuffed’!”
