If you’re heading to the Isle of Wight Festival next week, make sure you pay a visit to the new Dance Tent.
Isle of Wight DJ outfit, Headfunk tells us that “for the first time in its eleven year history, the Isle of Wight Festival has its own dedicated dance music stage.”
How do they know, well because they’re curating it, bringing a brilliant selection of DJs and live acts together to create what they say will be “a new vibe and sound at this year’s festival”.
Who’s playing?
Tom the Hat and Nipsy will be warming up the tent on Friday, Saturday and Sunday before the likes of Sepia, The Playground Syndicate, Born Ina Barn, Atomic Jukebox and 77k play music across the genres to get you dancing your festival wellies off.
Closing the tent every night will be a Silent Disco King session.
A smorgasbord of danceable music
Headfunk kingpin Tom is very excited and promises a smorgasbord of danceable music, “We were involved with last year’s Disco 2000 tent and had a great time. Isle of Wight Festival loved what we did so much they have given us a much greater remit to bring in some amazing acts to play with us.
“I can’t wait to see Playground Syndicate (pictured) causing mayhem on Saturday night or what the festival crowd makes of Born Ina Barn live!”
More details on the line up are available at the official Festival Website or tune into Headfunk Show IOW Festival special tonight (Friday 15th) at 5pm on Vectis Radio.
