The Guardian came along to the Isle of Wight Festival and have today published their video.
It has a particular take, which strangely makes it look pretty empty. Looks like they must’ve only be at the Festival for a couple of days, because (happily) there’s no rain in it, just sunny skies.
Atmosphere in camping sites praised
There are quite a few mentions from people that the camping sites have a great atmosphere – surprising, as so many people that we’d spoken to about it have, in the past had the opposite opinion. Perhaps things have been changing.
The Hipshaker Tent gets spoken about (didn’t its L-shaped layout and top banners work well this year?), so Annie Horne will be happy – and the DJ who played some T-Rex will have a special glow when watching it.
Comedy Gold
Our favourite bit is the two blokes chatting (at about 1:17), who appear to have, err, played quite hard in the lead up to the interview. “Brown sauce … Really? … What?” Comedy gold.
