When husband and wife filmmaking team Greg and Felicity decided to get their hair cut for The Little Princess Trust, a charity who provide free real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions, they also wanted to do as much as they could to help raise funds for the charity and to promote the charity as well.
Over three feet of hair between them
This was the third time donating hair for Felicity, and the second time for Greg, and on this occasion they donated over three feet of hair between them.
A personal connection to the cause
The charity is personally very important to them both as Felicity has lived with a chronic form of leukaemia since she was a teenager, and knows firsthand what it was like to face hairloss due to the condition and treatment, at a time when The Little Princess Trust was in its infancy and unknown to Felicity.
Going behind the scenes
To help as many young people as possible in the same position to discover the charity, as well as to help people learn what a donation of hair or funds can do to help the charity provide ‘hair and hope’, Greg and Felicity teamed up with The Little Princess Trust to film a documentary stepping behind the scenes of the charity to speak to the co-founder of the charity, Wendy, and see the work and care that goes into providing the perfect wigs.
