Isle of Wight foodbank have launched a new scheme to raise funds for the project.

Donate your unwanted clothes, shoes, or other household textiles and we can turn
fashion into food!

The Isle of Wight is the eighth most deprived district in the South East. Isle of Wight foodbank provides emergency food and support to local people in crisis.

Many are struggling
Today on the Isle of Wight there are families struggling to put food on the table. For people on low incomes, a sudden crisis – redundancy, benefit delay or even an unexpected bill – can mean going hungry.

Every day, parents skip meals to feed their children and people are forced to choose between paying the rent and eating.

Foodbanks help to prevent family breakdown, housing loss, crime and mental health
problems. We also take time to listen and signpost people to further support.

Donate your clothes and shoes
Bring unwanted textiles (any condition) such as clothes and shoes to us at our HQ in Somerton Business Park, Newport Rd, Cowes, PO31 8PB.

Alternatively at one of our textile bins located across the Island.

See the Isle of Wight foodbank Website for more details.
