Isle of Wight Logs in nets: Get warm with less effort

Our favoured Isle of Wight woodyard is now delivering firewood logs in nets, making it more convenient for those who have trouble shifting the large load from the roadside. Oh, and they’ve changed the name

Chessell Woodyard

Well, it’s finally here. The cold weather has hit the Isle of Wight. Unsurprisingly thoughts turn to the seductive power of beautiful wood-burning stoves and where’s best to source logs from.

For many years we’ve trusted Wightfield Woodyard to supply the logs to keep us warm.

Well things have changed a little and they’ve decided to now match their name to where they’ve been based for the last four years – Chessell Woodyard.

Summer 2016 special pricing: £85 per bag, two bags £160,
three bags £230, four bags £300
20 nets of logs are £90

Now available in nets too
A new feature this Winter is to be able to receive you wood delivery in convenient nets, to make them easy to carry to your fire – much like you will have seen at petrol stations.

Useful if you don’t have a drive to drop the logs in, or if there’s a long distance between your usual drop off point, because included in the price is the carrying and storage of them in to your wood shed.
