Isle of Wight man admits child sexual offences dating back to 2013

A man has pleaded guilty to a series of non-recent sexual offences on the Isle of Wight.

Graham Medway, aged 64 and formerly of the Freshwater area, appeared at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court today (30th August) where he admitted the following offences:

  • Assault a girl under 13 by touching – relating to an incident in Yarmouth, on 6th September 2014.
  • Assault a girl under 13 by touching – relating to an incident in Shanklin between 20th June 2013 and 22nnd June 2013.
  • Two counts of indecent exposure – relating to incidents in Freshwater between 1st January 2017 and 24th September 2020.

Medway was remanded in custody to appear at Isle of Wight Crown Court on 4th October for sentencing.
