Isle of Wight Pride logo - looks like a stick of rock with the words around the top

Isle of Wight Pride to return to Ryde with fresh look and exciting headliners

Isle of Wight Pride are proud to launch a new look for 2024.

A new logo has been designed to reflect a greater diversity within the community, whilst representing its unique connections to the Island.

The new logo will help to establish and develop the charity’s identity. It will be used on all future communications and merchandise.

Seaside rock inspiration
Created by local designer Shaun Cuff, the logo is based on a traditional stick of seaside rock, with the coloured stripes representing the different gender identities and sexual orientations many people now relate to.

Portwine: It will be an exciting year for Isle of Wight Pride
Sarah Portwine, Chair of Trustees for Isle of Wight Pride said,

“We are delighted to launch a new logo that represents the diversity of the island’s LGBTQIA+ community. Our plans for 2024 mean it will be an exciting year for Isle of Wight Pride.

“We will be returning to Harbour beach in Ryde for Pride weekend in July, with some fantastic headliners including the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 5, Ginger Johnson.

“The LGBTQIA+ community continues to make positive advances on the island, and we will continue to develop our organisation to support and further these advances.

“Our new identity can be viewed on our updated website, along with updates for 2024 and ways to be involved with Isle of Wight Pride.”
