Blacklands Lane will be closed from 9am until 4pm on Wednesday 16 March and Thursday 17 March 2016 between Staplers Road and Briddlesford Road. The road closure is for tree cutting works and the replacement of overhead electric wires by Groundsell Contracting for Scottish and Southern Energy. Hooke Hill will be closed from 6.30am until 6pm on approximately 3 to 5 days (Mondays to Fridays) starting on Wednesday 16 March 2016. The closure is from School Green Road to Copse Lane for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, and drainage works by Island Roads The route for diverted traffic will be: A3055 School Green Road, Tennyson Road and The Avenue, A3054 Colwell Road and Hill Lane, Pixley Hill and Copse Lane. Elenors Grove, Fishbourne will be closed from 7.30pm until 6am on approximately 5 to 8 nights (Mondays to Fridays) starting on Wednesday 16 March 2016. The closure is from Fishbourne Lane to Quarr Hill for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, and drainage works by Island Roads.
