Our favourite satirical news site, News Biscuit, came up trumps with a great Isle of Wight focused article yesterday.
They report that the Isle of Wight will host Britain’s first theme park for the elderly, ‘CodgerWorld’.
Some of the attractions at CodgerWorld include “a chill-out zone where overexcited geriatrics can relax in comfy chairs in front of re-runs of Countdown”, or perhaps the “the Tea Cup ride, where pensioners are seated at tables and challenged to get more tea in their mouth than in their saucer” will appeal.
We wonder if their next spoof will include the the loss of Isle of Wight Tourist Information Centres or closure of half our toilets.
Oh wait a minute, they only write spoofs, not reality.
