Time flies when you’re having fun, so it won’t be long before the Isle of Wight Walking Festival is upon us once again.
As we mentioned a couple of weeks ago, there are loads of walks planned for this years festival in May, one of which is the very popular speed dating walk.
We’re not sure how many successful relationships have developed from the speed dating walks, but there have been at least three marriages to date which is pretty good going!
It’s usual for there to be more woman than men, so if you know of any single chaps who could do with getting out and meeting some ladies, do encourage them to register for this one.
The walk starts off at Fisherman’s Cottage in Shanklin Esplanade at 11am. Tickets for the event, which includes a light lunch, are just £12 (a small price to pay if you find the man/woman of your dreams).
The four mile walk is expected to take around three hours and booking is essential.
Contact Elaine Cesar on (01893) 823070 for more details and don’t forget to say where you heard about it.
