Father of 26 (that’s offspring, not years), Peter Rolfe – and his family – will be appearing in a Channel 5 documentary tonight (Monday).
Life On The Dole will be screened from 9pm and features the Isle of Wight family and father the blurb for the programme says, “is struggling for space in his current home”.
Council housing error
Readers may remember the article published by OnTheWight in March, reporting that the family were unhappy with how the Isle of Wight council had dealt with their request for a larger home.
The Local Government Ombudsman felt the family should have been compensated with £1,000 after being given a three bedroom house instead of a four bedroom house.
