Hillway Road will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm during the period between Friday 18 March and Tuesday 22 March 2016. The closure is from Howgate Road to a point 450 Metres to the Southwest (the entrance to Ryde School). The road closure is for carriageway repair works by Island Roads.
Church Road will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm during the period between Friday 18 March and Wednesday 23 March 2016. The closure is from High Street to Kings Road. The road closure is for carriageway repair works by Island Roads.
Sandown Road (opposite the entrance to Bembridge Airport). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am and 3.30pm on each day between Tuesday 15 March and Thursday 17 March 2016 for carriageway repair works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
BLACKWATER:
A3056 Blackwater Shute (from Blackwater Hollow and the access to Wight Building Materials) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am and 3.30pm on each day between Wednesday 30 March and Friday 1 April 2016 for carriageway repair works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
BONCHURCH:
Balaambs Passage footpath will be closed from 8.30pm on Friday 8 January until 8.30pm on Friday 29 July 2016 between Bonchurch Village Road and The Pitts. The route for pedestrians will be: Bonchurch Village Road, Bonchurch Shute and The Pitts. The road closure is required until retaining wall repair works have been undertaken.
Bonchurch Village Road will be closed between 8am and 4pm on Wednesday 23 March 2016.
The closure is from Shore Road to its junction with East Dene. The road closure is for telephone pole replacement works. The road closure is for carriageway repair works by for British Telecom.
BRIGHSTONE:
Lower Limerstone Lane will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm during the period between Friday 18 March and Tuesday 22 March 2016. The closure is from Brighstone Road to Muggleton Lane. The road closure is for carriageway repair works by Island Roads.
BROOK:
Brook Road (from Brook triangle to Dunsbury Lane). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 6.30am until 6pm on each day Wednesday 17 March until Monday 21 March 2016 for highway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
COWES:
Newport Road will be closed from approx. 9am on Wednesday 13 January 2016 until 4pm on Thursday 24 March 2016 between Three Gates Road and Nodes Road. The road closure is for the installation of a new 450mm size water main. The route for diverted traffic will be: Three Gates Road, Place Road and Nodes Road. The works form part of a new water main project between Three Gates Road, along Newport Road to the Newport side of Northwood traffic lights.
Ward Avenue will be closed from 6.30am until 6pm for approximately 5 to 10 days and nights between Monday 29 February and Friday 1 April 2016. The closure is from Park Road to Baring Road for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, and drainage works by Island Roads. EAST COWES:
Esplanade will be closed from 2.30pm on Friday 25 April 2014 for the foreseeable future between 375 metres to the northeast of Cambridge Road and the end of the highway 860 metres to the northeast of Cambridge Road. There is no alternative route for traffic. This closure is necessary to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road due to a landslip.
FISHBOURNE:
Elenors Grove will be closed from 7.30pm until 6am on approximately 5 to 10 nights between Monday 7 March and Friday 1 April 2016. The closure is from Fishbourne Lane to Quarr Hill. For carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, and drainage works by Island Roads. Egypt Esplanade / Princes Esplanade will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm during the period between Friday 18 March and Tuesday 22 March 2016. The closure is from Egypt Hill to Woodvale Road. The road closure is for carriageway repair works by Island Roads.
HAVENSTREET:
Rowlands Lane will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm during the period between Monday 21 March and Wednesday 23 March 2016. The closure is from Stroud Wood Road to its junction with Mersley Downs Road. The road closure is for carriageway repair works by Island Roads.
LAKE:
Ranalagh Road / Cliff Road / Cliff Path. From 1200hrs on Friday 18 July 2014 for the foreseeable future the following roads / path will be closed to vehicular traffic:
Cliff Road / Cliff Path will be closed from point 55 metres to the northwest of the junction with Ranalagh Road to point 185 metres to the south west of the junction with Cliff Gardens (the southern boundary of number 6). Ranalagh Road will also be closed from Cliff Road to a point 10 metres to the west of Cliff Road. During the period of closure there is no alternative route for vehicles. The closure is required due to erosion.
Pedestrian access will be maintained as usual.
A3055 Sandown Road (from Winchester House to Cemetery Road). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 4pm on each day (Mondays to Fridays) between Monday 9 May and Friday 13 May 2016 for footway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
MOTTISTONE:
Brook Road will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm during the period between Monday 21 March and Wednesday 23 March 2016. The closure is from Strawberry Lane to its junction with Hoxall Lane. The road closure is for carriageway repair works by Island Roads.

Sandy Lane (from Whitcombe Road to access to Whitecroft Park) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation Monday 21 March until Tuesday 5 April 2016 for cable works by Morrison Utilities for British Telecom. Traffic delays are likely.
A3020 St Georges Way (near footbridge). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 7.30pm until 11pm on each day (Mondays to Fridays) between Wednesday 23 March and Thursday 24 March 2016 for carriageway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Watergate Road will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm during the period between Monday 21 March and Wednesday 23 March 2016. The closure is from St Georges School to Nunnery Lane. The road closure is for carriageway repair works by Island Roads.
NORTHWOOD:
Oxford Street will be closed on approximately 3 days and nights between 9am on Friday 25 March and 4pm on Friday 8 April 2016. The closure is between Wyatts Lane and Newport Road for the installation of a new water main at the junction with Newport Road by Clancy Docwra for Southern Water.

Warlands Lane will be closed on one day between 9am and 4pm during the period between Monday 21 March and Wednesday 23 March 2016. The closure is from Station Road to Fleetway. The road closure is for carriageway repair works by Island Roads.
SHANKLIN:
Cliff Path will be closed from 9.30am on Monday 20 January 2014 for the foreseeable future to pedestrians from Skew Bridge Path to Winchester House Car Park. The closure is required due to erosion/ land movement. During the period of closure the alternative route for pedestrians will be; Skew Bridge Path, A3055 Sandown Road and Winchester House Car Park.
A3055 Sandown Road (from Alresford Road for approx. 300 metres towards Lake). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 7.30pm until 7am on each night (Mondays to Fridays- not Bank holiday Monday 2 May 2016) between Thursday 21 April and Monday 9 May 2016 for footway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
James Avenue (Chelsfield Road to James Avenue). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 8am until 4pm on each day (Mondays to Fridays) between Thursday 10 March and Monday 21 March 2016 for footway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.

A3055 North Road (junction with Cross Street). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 8pm on Monday 14 March until approx. Tuesday 22 March 2016 for electric cable repair works by Scottish and Southern Energy.
ST LAWRENCE:
A3055 Undercliff Drive will remain closed from St Catherine’s Road to Seven Sisters Road (Western Junction), between Barrington Lodge, near to the western junction with Seven Sisters Road and Mirables which is located about a mile towards Niton. Following significant ground movement in the area in early February 2014, Undercliff Drive has been physically closed between Mirables (in the west) and a point 560 metres to the West of Seven Sisters Road (in the east) for safety reasons. There is now no access for vehicles or pedestrians. A formal road and footpath closure will be in operation for the foreseeable future. Access to businesses and attractions in Undercliff Drive will be maintained. During the period of closure the alternative route for traffic will be;
Pedestrians; A3055 Undercliff Drive, Public Footpath V81, V77, NT28, NT29, NT30 and A3055 Undercliff Drive. Cyclists and Equestrians; A3055 Undercliff Drive, Seven Sisters Road, St Lawrence Shute, Whitwell Road, Ventnor Road, High Street (Whitwell), Kemming Road, Chatfield Road, Rectory Road, High Street (Niton), Institute Hill, Barrack Shute and A3055 Undercliff Drive.
VENTNOR:
Longdown Steps Public Footpath V102 will be closed from 10am on Monday 12 May 2014 for the foreseeable future between South Street and St Catherine’s Street. This closure is necessary to avoid danger to persons using the footpath until wall repair works have been undertaken The diversion route for pedestrians will be; South Street, West Street, High Street, Victoria Street, Wheelers Bay Road and St Catherine’s Street.
Castle Road (between Zig Zag Road and Gills Cliff Road) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from Tuesday 30 December 2014 until approx. August 2016 until retaining wall works have been completed by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
A3055 Church Street (junction with Alpine Road). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9am until 4pm on each day between Wednesday 6 April and Friday 8 April 2016 for gully works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Marlborough Road will be closed at times between 8am on Tuesday 22 March and 4pm on Friday 8 April 2016. The closure is from Tulse Hill to the northern end of The Grove Car Par. The closure is required for utility service connections in connection with the construction of a new property between 20 metres and 41 metres west of the junction with Tulse Hill. The road will be open over the Easter Holiday period between Friday 25 March and Monday 28 March 2016.
WHIPPINGHAM:
Public Footpath N214 will be closed from Crematorium Road to Public Footpath N114 between 9am on Wednesday 5 August 2015 for the foreseeable future to pedestrians. The closure is required until urgent repair works have been undertaken to B171 Whippingham Cattle Creep.
The alternative route for pedestrians is; Crematoriums Road, A3054 Lushington Hill, Racecourse and Fairlee Road.
WHITELEY BANK:
At the roundabout at the junction with Canteen Road / A3020 Shanklin Road Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 3.30pm on each between Tuesday 22 March and Thursday 24 March 2016 for carriageway repair works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
WHITWELL:
Ventnor Road (from St Lawrence Shute approx. to Kemming Road, various locations). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 3.30pm on each between Tuesday 22 March and Thursday 24 March 2016 for carriageway repair works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
High Street (outside Hobbit House) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 3.30pm on each between Tuesday 22 March and Thursday 24 March 2016 for carriageway repair works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
WOOTTON:
A3054 High Street / Kite Hill will be closed on approx. 7 nights from 7.30pm until 6am on each night (Mondays to Fridays) between Monday 15 February and approx. Friday 18 March 2016 (weather and other circumstances permitting). The closure is from New Road to Fishbourne Lane and is for carriageway surfacing works by Island Roads.
