The partially-sighted cartoon character, Mr Magoo, may be have been able go through life without mishap (to himself), but for many, the problems associated with loss of sight are far more serious.
Today is World Sight Day, an annual day of awareness to focus global attention on blindness, visual impairment and rehabilitation of the visually impaired.
If you’re lucky enough to have good eye-sight spare a thought for those who are not as fortunate.
