Yes folks, from 9am this morning, tickets to Isle of Wight 2008 Festival went on sale.
2008 will be it’s seventh year and with two major awards under their belts, UK Festival Awards for Best Major UK Festival and Outstanding Contribution to Festivals (awarded to John Giddings), you can be sure of a fun packed weekend.
If you haven’t signed up for the £75 membership Festival First, which guarantees you the ability to purchase two camping tickets for the next three festivals, you’d better get your skates on, as last year they flew outta the door pretty pronto.
So apart from The Police, The Sex Pistols and Kaiser Chiefs, who is is playing you ask?
Well how about Lily Allen, The Enemy, James (blimey – they still going?) Kate Nash, Iggy and The Stooges, KT Tunstall and The Zutons for starters?
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place 13th – 15th June at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight
