If you’re into sports and wondered how much it would cost to have your company’s name blazoned across the back of your favourite player’s shirt, well I might just have the answer for you.
If you’re into hockey, it could be for less than the cost of tank of petrol (unless you’re using chip fat that is).
The Isle of Wight Hockey Club is sending out an invite to Island based companies, organisations, groups and individuals to get involved in ‘Sponsoring a Player’.
It’s a new scheme which they are hoping will attract lots of attention. For the mere sum of £25 you could sponsor any individual player for a year.
So what do you get out of it, you ask?
Well, your name, be it company or individual, printed on the player’s shirt. But that’s not all. If you have a website or blog, you’ll also get a link on the club’s website.
Club Captain John Pearson said “This is a great scheme which will immensely help with the development of the sport on the Isle of Wight. We are only a little over a month away from hitting the first ball and this season promises to be one of the best this club has ever seen. This scheme allows members of the Island’s community to become involved in supporting the club from grass roots level up to the seniors all year for less than the cost of a tank of petrol in your car”.
If you are interested in becoming involved as an individual player sponsor or want to find out more details and to get in touch by checking the website or calling on 07968 827915.
