This Saturday (18th) sees the debut of a new jazz collective and a chance for me to finally use the Gary Plumley category again!
Earlier in the year, Gary was featured so much on the blog with his regular gigs that I decided to create a category just for him – then nothing for ages.
Anyway, this new collective, call Caldera, has been formed and features the main man Gary Plumley on sax and flute, Bob Plimer tinkling the ivories on the old joanna, Ken Black on drums and keeping it in the family, Alex Black on bass.
Tickets will set you back £15 and are available from the Jazz Office on 856206.
