Were you ever a Brownie or Girl Guide?

At the moment there are over 500 members of Girlguiding on the Isle of Wight. However, we always welcome more members whether they are girls aged 4-18 or women who would be willing to become volunteers.

There are units in most Island towns/villages but to enable new units to set up we would welcome anyone who might be interested in helping to achieve this to drop in and see us at a free event.

Vacancies for girls too
Parents of girls are also welcome to attend to find out where units have vacancies for girls and what is involved.

At the events there will be Girlguiding activities for those who want to join in plus free refreshments.

Everyone from across the Island is welcome even if it is just to say “Hello”.

Drop-in event
The first event takes place on 24th January 2026 at Parish Centre, Town Lane, Newport.

Drop in around lunchtime 11am-1pm. All welcome.

Find out about our very special World Thinking Day. With the IW event on 28th February. More details later.
