A candlelight ‘Peace Vigil for Syria’ will be at the war memorial in St Thomas’ Square, Newport from 5pm today (Thursday).
The Vigil will then move to the Peace Tree on Coppins Bridge at 6.30pm.
Organisers encourage people to take along candles and placards. All are welcome.
