Join the Isle of Wight’s spring programme for diverse learning opportunities and workshops

The Isle of Wight Council‘s Adult Community Learning team has launched its spring programme, offering workshops and courses across multiple subject areas.

The programme includes arts, crafts, health and wellbeing sessions, alongside free ICT, English and maths courses.

Free online short courses are also available as part of the initiative.

Career support available
The council offers careers appointments with an information, advice and guidance professional for those seeking to develop skills, retrain or return to work.

The careers adviser provides assistance with CV writing, cover letters and application forms.

Support covers career changes, redundancy, education and training matters. Residents can book appointments by calling (01983) 817280.

ICT drop-in sessions
The council runs drop-in sessions for people needing help with computer access or ICT learning on Fridays between 9.30am and 12.30pm.

Sessions take place on 9th January, 23rd January, 6th February, 27th February, 13th March and 27th March.

No booking is necessary for these sessions.
