We know that Islanders love raising money for charity, but how about this for a bonkers fundraising effort.
Jono White is hoping for dry weather over the bank holiday weekend as he attempts to hitch-hike around the Isle of Wight with a fridge. Yes, you read correctly, with a fridge!
He hopes to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research and says that he was inspired to attempt the crazy challenge after reading Tony Hawks’ “Round Ireland With A Fridge”.
Four corners of the Island
Jono says that he’ll attempt to visit all four corners of the Isle of Wight over four days, hitch-hiking the entire way with his fridge. Thankfully it’s one of those under counter ones rather than a giant double height double width fridge.
