Kenneth Kendall dies aged 88

BBC Radio4 have just announced that Kenneth Kendall, the former journalist and broadcaster, who later in life set up an art gallery on the Isle of Wight, has sadly died.

The 88 year old, who lived in Cowes, suffered a stroke two weeks ago but passed away earlier today.

Many will have fond memories of Kenneth as a newsreader, as well as fronting the popular Treasure Hunt programme in the 1980s with Anneka Rice.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.
