Cowes Fringe is thrilled to announce an exciting one-off fundraising event ahead of next year’s festival: a glittering evening of drag, music, and laughter starring the fabulous Quivers.

This dazzling show (17th January 2026) marks the first Cowes Fringe event of 2026, setting the tone for another vibrant year of community arts and performance.

Expect sparkle, sass, and spectacular entertainment as Quivers takes to the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable evening, all in support of the continuing growth of Cowes Fringe, which celebrates creativity and live performance across the Isle of Wight.

New patron
Cowes Fringe is also delighted to announce that former Mountbatten CEO, Nigel Hartley MBE, has been appointed as its new Patron.

Nigel, a respected musician and arts advocate, shared his enthusiasm for his new role,

“I am thrilled to be named as a patron for the wonderful Cowes Fringe.

“Arts and performance on the Isle of Wight are critically important to both our culture and wellbeing, and as a musician, I am only too well aware of the impact they can have.

“The Cowes Fringe is quickly becoming a well-anticipated and much enjoyed festival, and I look forward to enjoying it once again alongside hundreds of other people.”

Championing local talent
This special fundraising show not only celebrates the start of a new year of entertainment, but also helps support the Cowes Fringe’s mission to champion local talent and bring diverse, high-quality performances to the Island.

Where and when
The event takes place on Saturday 17th January 2026 at East Cowes Town Hall.

Doors open at 7.30 pm, with the show starting at 8pm.
