Knife juggling, uni-cycling Island storyteller gets Royal seal of approval

Congratulations to Isle of Wight based performer, Greg Chapman, who has just been announced as winner of a video-storytelling competition run by Historic Royal Palaces.

The competition called on serfs to retell the story of Henry VIII’s royal progress.

Greg tells OnTheWight,

“The whole thing took a day to write, film and edit, including a good couple of hours riding a unicycle through Brighstone Forest and (usually) deliberately falling off. I was a bit gutted that no one came walking through the forest while I was filming it actually – would have been an odd sight to see!”

Greg won an iPad mini, tickets to the ‘Tudors on Tour’ event, and a ‘visit from Henry VIII’.

Top notch entries
We have to show the Under 12s winner too, Jasmine Price, as we thought it was brilliant.

We’re not sure where Jasmine is from, but she deserves praise all the same.
