Last chance to see: Martin Swan, Magie Gray and David Rosewarne

We sent Sixth Form student Hannah Mew into Newport this week to check out some of the exhibitions on offer. Read on to see what she thought of the latest by Martin Swan, Magie Gray and David Rosewarne. Ed

The exhibition showcased an amazing range of artwork. Stepping into the room I felt relaxed and like the stress of real day life had been washed out of me.

The artwork created a sense of escapism, with the relaxing medium that I would have spent all day looking at.

The exhibition was full of colour, bringing a happy warming feel into the room. The colours standing out boldly in their frames and against the white walls.

Brought a smile to my face
It’s a collection of beautiful and inspiring work, that brought a much needed smile to my face.

The range of different types of work meant that there was always something different to look out, and that there was a piece of art for everyone and anyone.

Venue: The Big Wight Space, The Rembrandt Gallery (above), Scarrots Lane, Newport
