If we asked you whether you’d heard about the wrestling at the Winter Gardens, you might be mistaken for thinking we were talking about last night’s Town Council meeting (more to come to that later).
Not so, we are in fact talking about the fantastic team of wrestlers that make up LDN Wrestling.
At the end of the week, they’ll be descending on the Winter Gardens again promising a night of great family entertainment.
In the ring on the night, we can expect performances from Gideon, Jekyll, Travis, Joel Ritchie, Ryan O Riley, The Evil Joker, Jon Ritchie© and Hakan.
Their previous shows have always gone down well at the Winter Gardens and the promoter tells us that once again, they’re very happy to be returning to the spiritual home of 1970s wrestling.
“It’s great to bring a tradition back to Ventnor, the Isle of Wight was a hot spot for professional wrestling back in the 70s during the ITV ‘World of Sport’ programming however it died when it was taken off in the 80s.
“I’m looking forward to bringing the stars the rest of the UK have seen to your door steps. Expect a night of thrills, spills and body slams, not be missed!”
