This from Hans Bromwich, Cowes. Ed
Sir Ed Davey, Liberal Democrat Leader, served as postal affairs minister between 2010 and 2012.
Sir Ed Davey subsequently worked for the City firm Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) trousering a reportedly £275,000. HFS became the company advising the Post Office in its defence against legal action launched by 500 postmasters.
Why did Sir Ed Davey choose not listen to the, ‘skint little people’?
Bob Seely, told GB News Ed Davey ‘spends his life calling for the resignation of other people. He was shown to be a deeply secondary and deeply inadequate minister so he should now do the decent thing.’
Seely and The Island Deal
I whole heartedly agree with Mr Seely, who I was only viewing the other day on the YouTube channel #MeetTheMPs. Bob was asked at the end of the interview “what do you hope to achieve in your time as an MP?”
Without hesitation Bob replied, “Island Deal“. He also went on to say, “I want to be respected for the substance of what I do.”
There we have it, five years on and absolutely no sign whatsoever of the Island Deal.
Bob accused Ed Davey of being deeply inadequate, given the lack of delivery of the Island Deal, presumably Bob should, like Ed Davey, now also do the decent thing.
