Letter: Conservative MPs will now have to start ‘genuinely’ delivering for their communities

Many loyal voters in the traditional Conservative Party heartlands have said, ‘we’ve had enough’.

They are no longer prepared to accept the lies, spin and corrupt mismanagement of public money that’s become the hallmark of this Conservative Government.

This leaves backbench MPs like Bob Seely with a problem. No longer can they rely on their traditional supporter base.

Rather than spouting the same old shallow rhetoric, they will have to start ‘genuinely’ delivering for their communities, otherwise, as sure as night follows day, they will be out of office come the next General Election; which all in all is probably no bad thing.
